North Torrance Little League Baseball

 

President's Message

Dear North Torrance Little League Families,

It’s hard to believe that another baseball season is over. What a great season it has been! I am always pleased with the growth that I see in our young baseball players. There have been many “firsts” this season. First HOME RUN, first HIT, first STRIKE OUT and many more. Thanks to the dedication, hard work and enthusiastic volunteers in our league, we can proudly say “we have served the children in our community well.”

It has been my pleasure to serve as league President again this year. Now that my son has completed his final little league season (he is 14 years old), it is time for me to say goodbye. This league has been a very big part of our family for 9 years, and I can honestly say that it is the BEST league in the South Bay. Thanks to all of the very hardworking board members that helped make this season GREAT! You all made my job easier.

I would also like to thank all of our families for supporting this league. It is important to remember that little league is an ALL volunteer organization. Unfortunately, this year we have seen a significant reduction in our volunteer work force here at NTLL. Sadly, this has affected the cleanliness of our amazing facility, as well as the snack bar. I strongly encourage all our returning families to make a concentrated effort to “step up” and do your part. For over fifty years this league has been a part of this community, providing a safe and well maintained facility for the children who reside here.

In closing, I would like to congratulate all of the players that have been selected to one of our 2010 All-Star teams. I urge you to practice hard, be committed to your team, and represent North Torrance Little League well. Best of luck to you all! I will be there to watch as you continue to develop into great young baseball players. I invite all our NTLL families to come out and support our All-Star teams.
