President's Message

Dear North Torrance Little League Families,

Wow! It’s hard to believe that another baseball season is over. What a great season it has been! A season filled with homeruns, great pitching, amazing fielding and teamwork. Not to mention, learning how to hit on and off a tee, learning to catch fly balls and making new friends. I am always pleased with the growth that I see in our young ball players from the beginning of the season to the end, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our managers and coaches.

It has been my pleasure to serve as league President. It is hard to imagine what it takes to make North Torrance Little League the GREATEST Little League in the South Bay -- hours upon hours of work, dedication and ENERGY! So thanks to all of the very hardworking board members that helped make this season GREAT! I would also like to thank all of our families for supporting this league, not only by participating in fundraisers, working your snack bar shifts, cleaning the stands and being role models for our boys and girls.

One of our goals at NTLL is to provide a safe, fun and family friendly environment for our families. We did just that! Dodger Day was wonderful this year with over 370 of our players, parents and friends going to watch a Dodger game together.

In closing, I would like to congratulate all of the players that have been selected to one of our 2009 All-Star teams. I urge you to practice hard, be committed to your team, and represent North Torrance Little League well. Best of luck to you all! I will be there to watch as you continue to develop into great young baseball players. I invite all our NTLL families to come out and support our All-Star teams.
